Hi, welcome to my world! My name is Gracie LeClercq, and I'm currently a Senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in Creative Advertising with a minor in Arts Practices. Ever since I was young, I have been surrounded by art and graphic design. Growing up, I watched my mom create her architecture and interior design company from scratch. Seeing how far she has come and watching her work come to life has been my biggest influence.

Growing up in the artistic city of Seattle, I get to see all the opportunities the arts hold for me. I delved into many art classes throughout high school and even took a summer course at Cornish, The College of Arts, specializing in Graphic design and photography.

Recently, I spent a semester abroad in London, and it was the most amazing experience. While abroad, I had an internship with Platform Creative, a PR firm specializing in sustainable fashion brands. I also got to expand my travels to Copenhagen, Dublin, Croatia, and Madrid. Before going abroad, I had been to Santorini, Greece, Mykonos, Athens, Rome, Istanbul, and Finland. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I hope to go back to Europe or move to London once I graduate.  

Another thing that shaped me as a person was growing up as a swimmer (my mom’s side swam for many generations). For 12 years, I swam for a club swim team that taught me many life-changing lessons: the value of hard work, positivity, kindness, teamwork, and determination. 

As I'm starting my senior year at Boulder, I am excited for my future and all the things I will learn and ways I will change. Hopefully I will get to add cool works to my portfolio, make a book for senior year, and create memories that will last a lifetime!
