For this project it took a lot of learning but I also was a lot of fun. To start out, everyone in our class had to record 5-10 second clips of sounds they hear in their everyday life. For me I recored sounds such as washing my face, filling up my cup with water, and chewing ice. Then we all put them into one folder and it was so much fun listening to all the sounds. some grossed me out and others made me laugh. The next step in the project was creating a unique song with these randoms sounds. I choose my top 15-20 favorite sounds and the ones I thought were the most interesting. I played with effects such as echos, radios, stretching audio, replaying audio, changing the volume, fading in and out, and even recording my own audio directly in adobe audition. After I created a project I was happy with I learned how to export it as an MP3 player and even put it on my soundcloud. This project has inspired me to make more funky music and has taught me so many tips and tricks on how to use adobe audition. Overall, so much fun and I love my final project!
